In fall 2019, skillaware was launched as a national awareness campaign. The offer: bank employees can self-assess 16 interdisciplinary skills using an online questionnaire. This self-reflection with 80 questions aims to test basic competences in banking, from self-management skills to social and methodological skills to activity skills. The initiative is backed by social partners in the banking sector. These are the association Employers in Banking, the Swiss Bank Employees Association and the Swiss Commercial Association. The aim is to use skillaware to raise awareness of competence development in times of change. Over 2340 people have taken part since the launch in September, but initial evaluations show that many may be overestimating their skills. Click here for the full article in the Tagesanzeiger.
